     Public relations are one of the most important factors in marketing. When one launches their career in PR, they must be very well spoken and speak the language of the marketer. When dealing with marketing, there are a few key components to remember. These are; the company’s goods and services, which include the products branding, which refers to any design, sign or symbol that differentiates products and/or services of one company from another, and packaging as well as the design and development, the company’s distribution, this being the place where the product is sold, and the method by which it gets there, the pricing if the product for sale, and the specifics about how the product is going to be advertised, this includes the direct marketing, sales promotions, and product publicity. 
     Marketing includes everything that you do to get your specific product into the hands of the consumer. It is about finding the right people to showcase your product too, and let them work for you to get the word out about your product or service. Most people aren’t interested in simply buying a product, they want a reason to buy it, and they want to be persuaded that a certain product was designed just with them in mind. A person isn’t purchasing a product, they are purchasing a concept. Marketing includes the concepts and practice of pricing, sales, packaging, public relations, and distribution. In marketing, the marketer soon finds out that the job involves designing product, taking great measures to promote the product, and set product pricing that makes it available to the market you are trying to reach. 
     Public relations and marketing blend into the job market almost as a complete package. To be in marketing, one needs to be experienced in PR, and to be in PR means that you will be using your talents to market product.  The role of a PR person is to research and understand the attitudes of the general public towards the product market. They must keep the lines of communication between the company launching the product, and the consumer open at all times. Keeping the public image of a company clean and free of scandal to promote a positive image of what is being sold and bought. Public relations companies are vital in helping positively promote such organizations and people such as; non-profits, large corporations, politicians, hospitals, schools, and programs designed to raise awareness about public issues.
     When searching for a job in marketing or public relations there are some qualifications that are needed. Either a bachelors or masters degree in business administration is unavoidable, with an emphasis on marketing. Computer skills are a must, and having the ability to speak in a second or even third language will push you higher up in demand. Some companies will offer certification programs within the company for their employees to boost their level of knowledge, and earning potential. Marketing and public relations jobs are in high demand all over the world,  in every industry, and the demand is growing all the time.
