Magic
Magic is the art of producing illusions as entertainment by the use of sleight of hand, deceptive devices, etc. Many people around the world have experienced magic either first hand or second hand. There are many types of magic shows and magicians.
The most common magic performances are The Rainbow Dove Act, Stage/Cabaret Show, Close-Up Magic, Illusion Show, and An Evening of Magic. The Rainbow Dove Act is a show performed to music, using multicolored doves which appear, disappear, and even change color. The Stage/Cabaret Show is about a half an hour show that includes features of impressive magic. Ususally comedy acts are performed to keep the audience up beat and entertained. A Close-Up Magic show is when a small group of individuals is introduced to magic in their own way and each individual gets a chance to perform their own magic trick. The Illusion Show usually includes a large setting with a big audience. The magician performs illusions to trick the audience. An Evening of Magic is a one hour show that combines various acts to be performed for the audience to enjoy.
Harry Houdini was the greatest magician, stunt performer and escape artist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was very successful in his career right from the start. In acts of escapology, he escaped from ropes, handcuffs, solid cement, straight jackets, a great white shark and a vat of acid. Millions were fans of Hudini and his magic.
The current most famous magician is Criss Angel. He is more in to the edgy type of magic, meaning he is more dark and demestic than most of the famous magicians. Though he is very personal and does not like to share information about his life, he doesn't have any problem with interferring with others lives. One of his magic tricks is to lift any person, willing or not, into the air to be floating at any time. Another one of his magic tricks is getting suspended from a helicopter by fishhooks attached through the skin and getting lowered over a lake to be used as a human bait.
Criss Angel got introduced to the arts at age 6 and has loved it ever since. Since then, a relentless work ethic combined with enormous talent, skill and vision has motivated Criss Angel to become one of the most interesting and amazing artists of the recent age.
