With the system being centrally located, this allows for only speakers and television screens in the rooms of the home. Along with leaving more free space, this also adds to the more modern clean look of a home. The entire system is controlled by a remote that is either handheld, or can be mounted on a wall at various locations. When properly configured, VCR and DVD systems can be viewed from more than the one room in the house they are installed in.
When one is installing an audio and video system into their home, there are some things that need to be considered. If a person desires to have master volume control located in each room, then an infrared distribution system must be added.
With a slightly higher budget, one can consider an audio video system with multiple amplifiers and or receivers. This system allows for people in separate rooms to watch and listen to different sources at the same time. When the need to control volume and receiving source from each room is desired, then an infrared distribution system can be added to the home. For the person with the highest financial purchasing ability, the purpose made multiple zone amplifier system might be the best option. This system allows for each room in the house to be wired with its own specific amplifiers and receivers. The volume control is also specific to each room or “zone”, and can be controlled with its own remote or wall control unit.
