Christmas is truly the most wonderful and majestic time of the year.  The pure essence of Christmas is captured in the simple scent of a Christmas tree, an enormous present with a tag with your name on it, waiting oh so patiently for Santa Claus to come, or simply being in the comfortable presence of family and friends.

Christmas is truly a time of giving and appreciating those you love.  This time of year seems to bring out the best in people, and possesses an inviting and cheery air like no other.  Vibrant and festive Christmas lights illuminate houses and elaborately decorated Christmas trees can be seen through windows.  Store windows are decorated with holly and other decorations, giving a festive and pleasant air to shopping centers.

Celebrating Christmas is done in so many ways with numerous different traditions, but all Christmas celebrations bring families and friends together to celebrate a wonderful holiday and truly enjoy the simple things in life.  Christmas parties are a great way to celebrate this wonderful holiday in a memorable way.  At Christmas parties, guests can drink festive holiday refreshments like eggnog, munch on fresh baked Christmas cookies, play games, and simply become enveloped in the joyful essence of Christmastime.

There are so many festive Christmas decorations available to people today such as giant light-up snowmen, a sleigh and reindeer that can go right on the roof of your house, icicle lights, nativity scenes, and of course the Christmas tree that represents a wonderful symbol of Christmastime.  Families always have a wonderful time decorating the perfect Christmas tree with bright lights, ornaments of all shapes and sizes, and either a star or an angel to put at the top.

Christmas is one of the best times to let someone know how much they mean to you through a special gift or possibly a meaningful Christmas card.  It is such a satisfying feeling to see the surprise and joy on a person’s face when they see the gift they have always dreamed of under the Christmas tree.
