With the continued rise of the internet, it’s making a dent in all the old fashioned style of business and now it’s affecting books, but some people would still physically read books than click on a virtual book website. How about you, would you rather lay in bed with a book other than sit on your laptop? But the truth is that sales of all books are declining due to the internet, and on top of that all book stores are being hit by online retailers, so the high street book store or libraries that hold lists of books are under serious threat. 

When it comes to books all people have read at least a few in their life, whether it be a novel a science fiction or an auto biography or of course a certain book all of us know, the bible. There are a list of books out there from your thriller style novels to your horror story books right down to self-help books and educational books as well as plenty of other books. The internet is great, let’s not forget that, as a tool of education, information and entertainment it has brought a new era to this world. There isn’t much you can’t find with a few clicks of your mouse, but surely we don’t want to totally kill off history and what made this world great even before the internet or the mobile phone. 

Surely this world needs a book other than a screen, the crispness of the pages filtering through your fingers. Is the book destined to be just an antique now… collected by enthusiasts of the old world rather than all books being enjoyed by us all? It’s a scary thought to many of us. Not all of us are book readers, but that is not the point, even those days some would read a book others would play sport. 

Still, many believe that books even in a digital format will not survive, storytelling as a whole could be killed off. With the ease of access of movies and entertainment online at your fingertips, many feel the book will be told in images rather than words in the future solely. All of us need to decide if that is what we want. 

Well if you would rather read other books than more movies and would hold in your hand books other than flip up your laptop then you need to support your book stores and libraries. If you are having trouble locating lists of books then simply use the internet for what it is really good out, finding out the information you need. Search online for your local book stockist or library, head down there, sign up, buy some books and bring back the good old days. 

Nobody wants books to be confounded to history no matter what they say, but that is happening. There are millions of books worldwide, from country to country and all books need to be saved. Books other than digitalized online stories are what we need and what must stay.
