Description:

The Institute of Public Administration is seeking qualified specialists interested in short-term and long-term overseas assignments that will provide technical assistance and training in the financial sector and in privatization-related areas to a wide range of public sector clients in emerging economies.

Financial sector expertise in the following areas is highly desired:

- Fiscal Policy Reform;
- Tax Administration Reengineering;
- Public Financial Management Systems;
- Standards and Certification Development;
- Financial Sector Regulatory Reform;
- Financial Sector Asset Management.

Privatization expertise sought includes:

- Managing Public-Private Partnerships;
- Capital and Credit Market Regulation;
- Government Outsourcing;
- Strategic Economic Development;
- Enterprise Development;
- Private Financial Institutions Capacity Building;
- Asset Restructuring.

Qualifications:

To be considered for work on this project, candidates must have:

- At least ten (10) years of work experience in both domestic and international arenas (developing country experience preferred);

- Experience with USAID-funded projects;

- A graduate-level degree in Public Administration, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
